I thought we had something special

Physics 120:
Professor wanted to show us something related to how scientists used classical mechanics to solve the motion of a spinning coin. Then he showed us a model of a spinning coin, an Euler's Disk.




Listen to the coin as it spins faster and faster...

Thought process:
"Wow, if I shout now, I wonder how many people would jump."
"Probably not many, since I'm sitting in the second row to the front."
"Meh, wanna try it though?"
"I might get labelled as a dick."
"Come on, it's almost finished spinning."
"Uhh..."
"Uhh..."

I shout "BAAAH!"

Girl directly in front of me jumped. Person I least wanted to make enemies of too. x_x

"Damn, I'm gonna get labeled a dick."

Met a guy who was in the same class as me in Physics 120 and Maths 150. He tells me to call him Bob because his name is exotic (Indian).

So I was gonna show him how to access Maths 150 recordings but before that I went to get breakfast. So he followed me.

Two girls come up to us.

"Hey, do you wanna apply for a student discount card?"

A few sentences later, Bob asks one of the girls, "You sound kinda American."

"I'm Canadian, actually."

Me : "Wow, is it a bad thing when we confused Canadians for Americans."

Answer was a yes.

A presumably Canadian guy came up and was acting offended in a joking manner too.

Me : "Oh, yeah... Don't worry, you're not the only ones I confuse. I confuse Aussies and Aucklanders too."

Guy (again, joking manner) : "Wow... I thought we had something special." (points to Bob) "You I'm okay with, but this guy" (points at me) "we should stay away from."
