International Suit Up Day

I went to the Glen Innes International Carnival yesterday. But that's not what I'm gonna talk about in this blog post. This paragraph is just to remind myself that I should post about the carnival next. If you want, I'm tagged on some photos on FB so you can go find it from my profile.

Anyway, I hope some of you know about Oct 13 being International Suit Up day. Basically, it's a day where you wear suits. http://internationalsuitupday.com/

My friends and I talked about it a week beforehand. So that would be at least three of us suited up that day.

I reminded one of them to wear something formal the night before, and he said okay.

I ended up being the only guy wearing a suit. Until second friend came with a suit! YES!!

And it seems we're not the only people who wore suits. A bunch of others wore em too and it felt great to not be the only guy doing it. I'M NOT AWKWARD ANYMORE GUYS! (not really)

But yeah, suit up day. The friend who didn't wear a suit over wants to wear a suit next year now. I hope this event will grow bigger next year!

I had sushi for lunch that day. But yeah, this post is a reminder for me to do another post.
